SL SLEEPING BAG
Die passende Grösse sorgt neben der Form dafür, dass nicht unnötig Luft erwärmt werden muss. Die Regular-Modelle von deuter sind für Menschen mit einer Körpergröße bis zu ca. 185 cm abgestimmt. Die größeren L-Ver­sionen mit gleicher Ausstattung sind für Personen bis 200 cm dimensioniert.

Die kürzer ge­schnittenen SL Women's Fit Versionen verfügen zusätzlich über flauschigen Fleece-Einsätzen im Nierenbereich und an den Füßen und eignen sich besonders gut für Frauen bis 175 cm Körpergröße.


PFAS FREI

Dieses deuter Produkt ist frei von per- & polyfluorierten Chemikalien. deuter reduziert damit die Verwendung umweltschädlicher Substanzen, die Umwelt und Gesundheit belasten.

PFAS wird unter anderem als Beschichtung zum Regenschutz verwendet, da sie wasser-, schmutz- und fettabweisende Eigenschaften aufweisen.

Stattdessen verwendet deuter nun gesundheitlich unbedenkliche und umweltverträgliche DWR (Durable Water Repellency) Imprägnierung.


CLIMATEPARTNER ZERTIFIZIERTES PRODUKT
Durch den vermehrten Einsatz von Materialien und Technologien mit einem geringeren CO²-Footprint in deuters Kollektionen wird langfristig daran gearbeitet, den CO²-Abdruck maximal zu reduzieren. Doch auch unter größten Anstrengungen bekommt deuter ein Produkt nicht klimaneutral. Alles, was heute an den Produkten nicht mehr reduziert werden kann, möchte deuter in Zusammenarbeit mit Climate Partner kompensieren. Zukünftig wird beim Kauf eines ClimatePartner zertifizierten deuter Produktes die Menge der durch die Produktion und den Transport des Produktes freigesetzten Emissionen durch freiwillige Kompensation ausgeglichen und gezielt in ein ausgewähltes Sozial- und Klimaschutzprojekt investiert.

 



Material: Thermo Pro Loft®
In einem speziellen thermischen Verfahren werden Polyesterfasern zum technisch hochwertigen Thermo ProLoft® Isolationsfleece verarbeitet. Das ideale Verhältnis von Haltbarkeit, Gewicht und Wärmeleistung stellt dabei der Verbund von Voll- und Hohlfasern sicher. Ihre Kombination bildet ein Fleece, das sowohl widerstandsfähig, pflegeleicht, wie auch gut komprimierbar ist und leistungsstarke Wärmeisolation bei möglichst niedrigem Gewicht bietet. Die synthetischen Fasern nehmen überdies wenig Feuchtigkeit auf. Kurze Trocknungszeiten und hervorragender Loft, damit effizienter Wärmerückhalt, auch in feuchtem Zustand zählen zu ihren großen Vorteilen. Zusätzlich ist Deuter Thermo ProLoft® für eine gute Bauschfähigkeit mit einer dünnen Silikonschicht behandelt.
  • * D steht für Denier. Hiermit wird das Garngewicht beschrieben. 600D entsprechen somit 600 Gramm pro 9000 Meter.
  • * PES steht für Polyester. PES-Fasern sind sehr reiß- und scheuerfest und nehmen kaum Feuchtigkeit auf.
  • * PA steht für Polyamid. PA-Fasern sind äußerst haltbar und scheuerfest. Zudem zeichnen sie sich durch hohe Elastizität und niedriges Gewicht aus.

Well Presented Concepts and Implementations (5th ed.)
Format: Paperback
Foreword: I have been running my own DNS servers on OpenBSD and FreeBSD for about 4 years. All of my previous DNS knowledge was obtained from the man pages and online tutorials. The book is great because the example network used throughout the book is built upon, showing you how to "grow" your DNS with your expanding network. The design and implementation presented is priceless and covers some of my favorite topics: placement of slaves, hidden primaries, building root servers, split views, daisy-chaining, forwarders, partial-slaves, address maintenance issues, etc. The pros and cons of each setup are weighed and best practices are suggested. If you like a generous helping of diagrams, examples, and tables as a learning aid, you won't be disappointed. One specific example of weighing the pros and the cons is presented on page 479 as follows: "Could we have saved a few bucks on hardware by using our external authoritative nameservers as forwarders, too? Sure, but that would have presented a risk." After that statement, they proceed into all the details of "why." There is adequate coverage on security. The authors preach defense in depth. An implementation example includes hiding your masters and only exposing bastion slaves. Securing communications between the masters and slaves is also covered in the security chapter using DNSSEC and TSIG. I think IPSec is another way to add a security layer, but that is probably another book. After reading the book, I started to implement my new DNS infrastructure and found myself referring to the index often. It is fairly consummate, however, I found a few things missing, such as the $GENERATE statement. Also, some of the configuration details were lacking slightly. For example, the order in which ACL elements are processed and how negated elements affect the processing outcome. Another question I had was, what would happen if an ACL name is negated, and what if that ACL contained some negated elements. Well I found my answer by actually trying it and verifying with the canonical reference docs on isc.org. I gave this book five stars because of its effectiveness in presenting the concepts and implementations of DNS using examples, good writing style, tables, and diagrams. If you're looking for the last 4 percent of the diminutive details of DNS, you will find it on isc.org.
